   An excellent read !

   I couldn’t wait to receive this book and it came very quick! It also came with a little gift which was an awesome surprise. Best of all it’s a great book with a ton of information. I’ll probably have to read it 2 or 3 times to fully absorb all the information in it, and will always have it as a reference to go back to. I’m very happy I ordered this book.

His love for the plant is boundless and so evident in how he writes this book! This os a must read for breeders, growers, and cannabis lovers! , The JL crew is pretty incredible, too! 💚

   Comprehensive Compendium

   An inspiring, and comprehensive cannabis compendium. This is an encouraging delve into the world of commercial cannabis. I found it to be a smooth reading experience, and worth the investment. I have been waiting years to read this book, since Mr. Loud mentioned it on the future cannabis project. One can rest assured, that the common conjecture within the cannabis community, or “bro science,” has been relinquished here. A team of experts, spearheaded by Mr. Loud, provide detailed analysis of many of the issues inherent in the breeding process from pathogens to legal minutia. There are references to different companies, and organizations, but this book is not riddled with advertisements like some are.
   This book was dedicated to strain hunter Franco Loja, whose love of the plant was always a reminder of why the journey is necessary. Why one must experience all that Cannabis can offer. The love of the plant is deeply ingrained in all of us strain hunters. I appreciate that this book was dedicated to him by a kindred grower.
   This book was written with a rare passion that most of the industry now seems completely devoid of. Those of us who use medical cannabis really do know the struggle, and the need to continue to strive towards excellence in producing our medicine.
   I am a huge proponent of researching and utilizing landrace, and heirloom cannabis. It was important for me that the topic was discussed more thoroughly than just aesthetic appeal which many focus too much on. How imperative it is to incorporate their genetics into a breeding program, and why.
   I also appreciate the reasonable approach to autoflowering cannabis as well. Many of the older heads disparage autoflowering cannabis relentlessly, but their bias is from experiencing the autoflowers of the past, and an unwillingness to change. This book is more realistic and discusses their usefulness, and proliferation within the modern industry. Too many like to ignore autoflowers hoping that they will go away, or only provide negative outlooks.
   This book will assist the inclined breeder in successfully producing their own cultivars of both autoflowering and photoperiod cannabis, with easy-to-follow steps.
   More importantly this book will share the reasons one should undertake any of it when there are already so many providing genetics to the market.
   Creating one’s own distinct cannabis for personal use, or otherwise, should be a goal if one is already cultivating.
   I highly recommend this book to anyone looking for a respite from the drudgery of the common consensus, who craves more out of their reference material. There are simply not enough books like this one available. It would be nice if more breeders took the profession as seriously as the people who contributed to this book.
   Reading this was a worthwhile experience.
