Ganja Farmer Seeds is a collaboration of the minds of James Loud and legendary reggae singer Marlon Asher who met in 2012 in Amsterdam at the High Times Cannabis Cup over some quality OG Kush. The idea was to make amazing California-style genetics and also genetics that reminded Marlon of the flower he grew up with in the Caribbean. Some of our work was done in collaboration with Loud Cannagenex.
James has been breeding and doing large scale autoflower seed production for several years. His first focus is quality then crop consistency with even phenotypical expression, harvest times, plant size, and then potency. His genetic lines all harvest 70-75 days from germination in a warm growing environment.
Tim and Kyle from Canna Organix in Sequim, Washington have been working with James for a few years now. They are making top quality genetics with the focus being organic and using cultivars that work well in field production.
In 2018, James met Daniel Luna, Vice President of Bumpboxx, at a growing bootcamp where James was lecturing at. They quickly became friends over joints and good food. These strains were curated exclusively for Bumpboxx. Bumpboxx is involved with a lot of charity work and invests a lot back into the community, and James also believes in giving back. As a chef, James has helped raise over a million dollars for local Bay Area charities. So, with every collaboration package sold we will be donating part of our proceeds to help feed people at the Bay Area Rescue Mission.
Sage Against the Machine is a collaboration between James Loud and Adam Dunn. James took three donors of TH Seeds Sage and Sour variety and crossed them with several popular cultivars in 2018. These seeds are very limited and when they are gone, we will not be producing them again. They are packaged in a retro mix tape cassette box for your collection.
Purple Tangie is a phenotype of the High Times Cannabis Cup winning cultivar Tangie bred by DNA Genetics. OG Steve, a good friend of James Loud, discovered the purple tangie variety in a pack of DNA seeds in 2014. It’s won several awards and is still considered exotic. The almost neon purple flowers when it grows along with the aroma of fresh squeezed orange and orange blossom make it highly desirable for consumption and breeding. In 2018 James selected two males from OG Steve’s backyard to breed with that were purple with a similar nose and structure. James has been waiting a long time to share the seeds with the world. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to grab some seeds from the vault.
