Candy Crepe
[Dessert Runtz #5 x Heavy Z]
Candy Crepe expresses a balanced hybrid morphology with symmetrical branching, medium stature, and dense inflorescences that mature into elongated, tapering colas. The cultivar forms a thick coat of capitate-stalked trichomes and demonstrates excellent glandular density even on secondary bracts.

Foliage tends to show moderate internodal length, broad-oval leaflets, and the potential for lavender or rose-tinted pigmentation during late anthesis due to anthocyanin accumulation.
The volatile profile integrates the high-monoterpene fraction typical of ZBX with the cream-confection and fruit ester chemistry of Dessert Runtz #5. Dominant compounds include limonene, linalool, and β-caryophyllene, supported by myrcene, nerolidol, and ocimene. These molecules contribute to a multilayered aromatic structure that reads as candied citrus, spun sugar, and faint floral resin.
The cannabinoid spectrum is typified by a Type I chemotype dominated by Δ⁹-tetrahydrocannabinolic acid (THCA), with minor but consistent presence of cannabigerolic acid (CBGA) and trace cannabichromenic acid (CBCA). Such diversity indicates stable enzymatic expression in the THCAS-pathway, while maintaining precursor retention advantageous for resin extraction and analytical differentiation.
Candy Crepe presents an aromatic composition reminiscent of powdered sugar, soft fruit cream, and candied citrus peel. The top layer carries bright limonene-driven citrus volatiles, merging with linalool’s floral smoothness and a β-caryophyllene resinous depth. As the flower warms, the bouquet broadens into notes of vanilla meringue, tropical taffy, and faint woody spice, leaving a refined, confectionary aromatic persistence.
100% In-House
“Everything has a beginning” starts in-house with our seed production. Our breeding, pheno hunting, tissue culture, nursery, clones, seeds, order fulfillment, and even the weekly podcast is all done on-site at our facility. We literally do everything in-house, except for 3rd party testing.
TISSUE CULTURE
James Loud Genetics onsite tissue culture laboratory run by Justin Givens is state of the art. Our program uses advanced meristem TC technique for cleaning and preservation. We strive to provide the cleanest genetics available for both retail and commercial use.
Pathogen Negative
We put a lot of effort into cleaning and banking our genetic library and keeping them that way. We test the plants in our facility regularly to make sure we stay clean and maintain our quality standards. We have onsite PCR testing for viruses, viroids, and bacterial load.

COA TESTED
We use third-party verification for testing cannabinoids and terpenes to keep us honest. All of our genetics are tested, and we love sharing the results via QR code on our packaging. When our customers make a purchase, we want them to understand what to expect and what the potential is when growing out our genetics.
